There is a parallel void of these numbers in the contents; the pages being individually numbered (probably by an early nineteenth century hand) above those printed. This added pagination continues through the text correcting subsequent printed mispaginations and culminating with page 747 (vis-à-vis a printed 841), followed by a Table of Principle heads and an advertisement for Legal Texts Published by Twyford.
