Newer cloth library binding (not buckram). Title page is partly loose, has tears and chipping to the outer edge, and is badly trimmed along the upper edge (loss of "The" from the title). Following several leaves also have tears and chipping to the outer edges. Pages are browned. Spine labels are slightly scraped. .

Handsome copy in full recent calf with new pastedowns & fly sheets. This is a complete text with a false void of 96 page numbers between p. 360 and 457 with no cancels or loss of signatures. There is a parallel void of these numbers in the contents; the pages being individually numbered (probably by an early nineteenth century hand) above those printed. This added pagination continues through the text correcting subsequent printed mispaginations and culminating with page 747 (vis-à-vis a printed 841), followed by a Table of Principle heads and an advertisement for Legal Texts Published by Twyford. Includes diverse pieces of such legal importance as a "Case brought by a Commoner against a stranger for digging a pit in the Common" and "Case against a Chyrurgeon for an evil Cure."; 4to 11" - 13" tall; [xx], [748], [ii] pages; Additional images and further information provided upon request. ; All shipments through USPS insured Priority Mail. .
