Accurately printed from the text of the corrected copy left by the late George Stevens, Esq. with a selection of explanatory and historical notes, from the most eminent commentator; 'A History of the Stage', 'A Life of Shakespeare' etc., by Alexander Chalmers. Raised spine bands and gilt decorated spine, marbled boards, frontispiece of Shakespeare. 490pp with this 5th volume containing the Second Part of King Henry IV, King Henry V, and King Henry VI. Shelf worn. Boards are scuffed and front board is just hanging on. Corners quite heavily rubbed. Moderately foxed throughout. Previous owner name on front blank. 680 grams.
