London: Macmillan and Co., 1908. Leather. Good. 9" by 6". None. A handsomely bound collection of the plays of Richard Brinsley Sheridan. Including The Rivals, The School for Scandal, Pizarro and others. Richard Brinsley Sheridan, was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1751. His most famous works includes 'The Duenna', and 'A Trip to Scarborough'. As well as a writer, Sheridan served as a Whig MP for over thirty year, and was also the owner of London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Bound by Hatchard's, with binder's ink stamp to front pastedown. In a half-calf binding. Externally, generally smart, with wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Ink signature to front pastedown. Pages are bright and generally clean, aside from some foxing to the endpapers. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
