Slight wear to edges and corners of boards and dj. SIGNED by Lund and SIGNED and INSCRIBED by the author, both on title page. Uncommon in hardcover edition. 456 p. w/ illustrations. A detailed look at the life and baseball career of University of Michigan letterman and MLB player Lund, based on extensive interviews with him by Irwin, helped by Lund's excellent memory, which the author called "verifiable" and "beyond normal".
