Original wraps. Near Fine. An exact facsimile re-issue of the Dec. 1953 1st issue of Playboy, with the legendary Marilyn Monroe cover (and centerfold --which here first appeared in color). Clean and Near Fine in its stapled wrappers. Surprisingly slim, a mere 43 pages. For its fiction, the magazine chose to debut with an Arthur Conan Doyle re-issue of a Sherlock Holmes profile.
