Ludwig Heinrich Edler von Mises (1881 - 1973) was an Austrian-American Austrian School economist, historian, logician, and sociologist. He is best known for his work on praxeology studies comparing communism and capitalism. In Planned Chaos, he argues that an economic system based on individual freedom is incompatible with socialism.
