Yellow-brown cloth over board, with brown and green stamping to spine. Orange endpapers. Tan dust jacket with illustration printed in brown, green, and white. Binding sound and square. Tips sharp. Interior clean and unmarked. Unclipped dust jacket shows three small closed tears, one near lower leading corner of rear panel, one at upper edge of real panel, and one near upper leading corner of front panel. Creasing to head and heel of spine. Light chipping to head of spine, top edge of front panel, and both upper tips. Spine and edges rubbed and toned. Dust jacket now in removeable archival protective cover. Freedman A5.
Synopsis

This brings the revised 1983 edition back into print, the next book in our program to put all of Wendell Berry's fiction into print in revised and corrected uniform editions.
