Indianapolis: The Bowen-Merrill Company Hardcover, red cloth lettered in gold and with top edge gilt. 203pp., Former owner's inscription inside front cover dated 1913. Only date printed on book is copyright date of 1888. Early printing of this book of poems by Riley, one the more popular and prolific American poets of the late nineteenth century. Red cloth cover badly stained from cup, with several spots and large ring vivible on cloth. Book is tight, square and internally clean. Good.. Later Printing. Cloth. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
