About This Item
London: William Heinemann Ltd., (1954). First edition, first printing. This is a very good (or better) copy. The dust wrapper has some slight bumping at the spine tips, with one minor tear at the top right-hand corner. There are slight handling marks to the rear panel. It has not been price clipped and shows the original 12s 6d net price. The boards are sharp with some slight surface wear. The text blocks are so slightly foxed throughout, but otherwise clean. This copy proudly dons the 'From the library of writer Henry Williamson and his family' label to the front pastedown and is overall in very good (or better) condition.
Personal recollections of Norman Douglas, Pino Orioli and Charles Prentice.
