J M Dent & Sons, 1972. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1972. First edition thus. 214 pages. No dust jacket. Grey slipcase; red cloth with gilt and silver titles and decoration to front and spine. A Jason Book. Translated by Murray. Revised by G Tassinari. Illustrated by Folkard. Upper text block edge red. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning or foxing. A few dog-eared corners. Faint creases to some pages. Boards and spine are fresh and clean with minimal wear. Gilt is bright. Spine is slightly sunned. Slipcase has substantial marks, bumped corners and heavy cracking and tears to joins. A good book in a damaged slipcase.
