The book won the Pulitzer Prize for Non-Fiction in 1975. Includes Certificate of Authenticity from Easton Press. In fine unread condition with moire silk endpapers, gold-gilt cover designs and page edges, and bound-in silk bookmark. Still in the original shrinkwrap. Other books by Annie Dillard include "An American Childhood," "The Writing Life," "Teaching the Stones to Talk," "The Living" and "For the Time Being." A fine copy by one of America's most original writers.
