New York: Morro Music Corp., 1943. First Edition . Sheet Music. Very Good. 8.75" x 11.5. An extremely scarce copy of the "Primera Edicion" of one of Yupanqui's greatest compositions, "Stone and Road" (here in Spanish only), arranged for piano solo by Lucho Gatica, and including Yupanqui's six-stanza lyrics. Yupanqui recorded it for the first time in 1944 (as a 78rpm record). It was initially released in Argentina by Ediciones Musicales Blas Buccheri. 4 pages. CONDITION: This bright, unmarked, uncreased score shows just a bit of shelf-wear and rubbing. This attractive copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
