Illustrated from black and white photgrpahs by C. C. Pierce & Co., Los Angeles of the effects of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and Fire. Photographs include the City Hall, Hotel St. Francis, Stanford University, Monadnock Building, Oakland Central Bank Building, Financial District, Flood Mansion (now, Pacific Union Club, Nob Hill), a double-page panorama of the City from Nob Hill, among others. A Very Good or better copy (rubbed from handling; light crease to fore-edge of front wrapper), now in a clear 4mil mylar protective envelope.
