Weissenborn's colorful alphabet is accompanied by quotations about various aspects of printing from philosophical and literary luminaries, such as Byron, Nietschze, and Southey, as well as influential and diverse figures in the printing world, from Bodoni to De Vinne. This book marks Weissenborn's first collaboration with Whittington. Small bump to lower spine, else about fine in stab-sewn gray boards, housed in publisher's slipcase with printed label on upper cover. Slipcase shows light wear along opening.
