About This Item

Oxford: Oxford Publishing Co, 1977. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 11" x 8 3/4". 442 pages, 664 black and white illustrations and plans. Covers a wide range of buildings seen on the Great Western Railway, shows the development of bridges and viaduct; the main types of footbridge, signal box and engine shed, and an appendix containing a miscellaneous collection of items from lamp posts to lavatories. Fascinating and definitive. Hb in dw, boards a little sprung, pages slightly rippled, the usual fading on the spine of the dw, but otherwise a very good copy..
