A biography of a Civil War general, written by his wife, and praising the men that served under him. Maroon cloth binding with gilt titles on frong cover and spine. A little rubbing of gilt, light edge wear, corners and spine ends a bit bumped, former owner's name "Lt. Col. R. E. Rickel?" on front fixed end paper, interior pages bright, binding tight.
