Florence: M. Cellini E. C.. Good with no dust jacket. 1867. First Edition. Hardcover. 641pp + ads. In Italian. Library bound with cream cloth spine and attractive cream marbled hard boards. Boards and spine have moderate wear, quite handsome. Interior yellow end papers, text is foxed and Section M-end is a different paper stock which is darker than the rest. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Nice copy. De Gubernatis (18401913) was an Italian scholar and philologist with a special interest in Sanskirt and India. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 641 pages; Kelly 10/14 .
