Second And Best Edition, With The 1891 Appendix, As Issued 1891. Fisher Described The Mechanism Of Plate Tectonics In 1881, Ascribing It To Convection Currents In The Earth's Molten Interior. This Work On Continental Drift Went Unnoticed Or Ridiculed, But Was More Consistent With Modern Science Than The Criticisms Of His Work. An Unopened Copy [Pages Still Attached Along Top Edge].
