Interscience Publishers, Inc, New York, 1948. Reprint. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition (ex-library)/No Dust Jacket. Preface by author, author index of main investigations in volume 1 and subject index. The text is illustrated with numerous graphs, schematics and figures. Green coloured cloth covered boards with silver coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Title says it all. This is an ex-library copy, from the Defence Standards Laboratories Library, and has the faults of same: – library stamp, including cancellation stamp, to the free front end page, title page and rear three end page. Library barcode, cancelled, lower left hand corner of the title page and to the top left hand corner of the front panel. Remnants of the due back pocket can be seen to the rear paste-down. Library sticker to the lower edge of the back strip. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges, either side of the back strip; with, bumping and rubbing of the book corners. Rubbing of the book panels with tanning and some marking of the text block edges. Age toning of the pages. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down.
