Andrew Duthie, Simpkin, Marshall & Co, W.H. Smith & Son, 1867-01-01. Hardcover. Acceptable. Signed by the Publisher. The beveled green cloth boards with green clover decoration are worn to the under-surface at the corners, soiled with age, spine is missing the lower 3" of fabric, tearing at the head, spine is torn so the front and rear are no longer attached, but front decoration is nice. The interior is loose in the book, and the two front endpapers are loose, the front endpaper is inscribed "Mrs. John D. Lee with the Publisher's Compliments Glascow 24th June 1870." Foxing throughout. There are twelve albumen photographs attached to the pages with legends and tales of the area. All orders packed with care, independent bookseller since 2011
