The Austrian-born soprano starred in New York Metropolitan operas and operattas from 1921 to 1932, including their first production of "Turandot"; she is noted particularly for her roles in "Tosca" and "Carmen." PS, 3" X 5½", n.p. [New York, NY], n.y. [1925 January 27]. Fine. Picture postcard, a stunning sepia-tone full-length portrait of Jeritza in flowing gown, signed boldly across her midsection in black fountain pen. Verso (address and message portion) blank. With original envelope. Superb piece from the height of her fame.
