[1980s]. From the estate of Harold Wilson Colour photograph, image size 19 x 14 cm, within grey card mount by Hallfield. Some marking and light creases to mount, yet in very good condition. Presented in an aluminium frame with conservation acrylic glazing. Photograph of Margaret Thatcher, Harold Wilson, and Alec Douglas-Home, inscribed by Thatcher to Wilson in silver ink on the base of the mount: "Harold - with warm regards - Margaret Thatcher". The photograph remained in the possession of Harold Wilson until his death in 1995, then in the possession of his wife Mary until her death in 2018, thereafter entering the market through the sale of the Wilson estate in 2019.
