not stated: none listed, 1880. Book. Illus. by early American photos, circa 1870s. Very Good. Full-Leather. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Brown full morocco leather binding, with raised bands flanked by gilt lines and double gilt lines on the covers. Gilt geoffered page edges (meaning a design has been pressed into the gilt page edges). Bright gilt dentilles on the inside of the boards. Two antique brass clasps hold the book shut. A bit scuffed along some edges, but over all VERY GOOD PLUS. 50 photos portraits of men, women and children, dressed in dress that appears of the American Civil War era (1870s or earlieer). Quite a rare, early album with all 50 photos intact. .
