' Deze vertaling (uit het Frans) verscheen in 1994 onder de title Phaedra (in één band met 'Andromache' en 'Britannicus'.) en werd door de vertaler ietwat herzien in 2004, waarbij tevens de keuze is gemaakt Phe4dre haar Franse naam te laten behouden (in tegenstelling tot de overige personages in het stuk).'
