Publisher's original red paper over boards; front cover gilt and black stamped with garland and scroll work; spine gilt and black stamped with flowers and titles; rear cover black stamped with central decoration. Clean, scuffed covers and spine; slight color fading on spine and gilt titles chipped off/dulled to black; light rubbing wear at spine ends; rubbed at cover fore corners; tightly bound; clean interior with general age darkening; leaves remain supple enough for reading but wood-pulp paper is tending towards brittleness; rear pastedown has piece torn off. 8vo, 141 pp; 22 illustrations.
