Paris: N.p, n.d.. Hardcover. G. Reprint. Contemporary full leather (tree calf?) with remains of labels to spine, marbled endpapers, 12mo., 13 x 8.5 cm., 260 pp., 7 engraved plates (of 12?). No publication details, presumed 1820. Inscribed 1829. Text complete and in good order. Fair. Leather quite wormed and scuffed, lacks title page and other preliminaries, lacks last page. Very much abridged children's edition of Buffon's great work.
