Two pages have open tears with chunks missing, and several other pages have closed tears. Beautiful full-color illustrations throughout. Pictorial endpapers. 9 7/8""w x 12 1/8""h. Unpaginated. Reading copy.

Rand, McNally & Company, 1918. Hardcover. Acceptable/Missing. 1918 edition from Rand McNally. No dust jacket. Blue cloth boards have considerable wear on the edges, and some soiling on the backside. Illustrated plate on cover has some light smudges and rubbed areas. Binding is good. Front endpaper has been torn out. Front pastedown is wrinkled, has extensive peeling, and a used bookplate. There are a few crayon scribbles, but these mostly appear on blank pages. Illustrations and text are mostly free of marks. Pages are toned, and there are small closed tears at the bottom edge of some of the pages. LO

Light rubbing along spine edge and tips. Metal Binding secure. Contents clean and unmarked except for gift inscription on flyleaf and owner stamp on front inside cover. There are no pencil/crayon marks at all. The pages seem really clean edged except for Four 2" tears. Two 1/4" corner missing. One 1/4” tear. Five bent corners. A 1” chip and a 2" chip. No dust jacket. Illustrated endpapers. Unpaginated. Color illustrations throughout by Blanche Fischer Wright. First edition. All items carefully packed to avoid damage from moisture and rough handling.

Christmas 1931 gift inscription on front flyleaf, otherwise clean pages, mild foxing on bottom edges. Color plate on front is scraped but intact. Dark blue cloth. Oversized picturebook with charming full color illustrations by Blanche Fisher Wright.

First Edition of this story book with lovely full color illustrations throughout. Very Good. No Jacket, as published. Winter Milo (illustrator). A little rubbed to edges and small 1/4 inch mar on lower front cover, otherwise very bright with only light spotting on a few pages. Ex Lib on rear board. A truly lovely copy of this 100 year old children's classic!
