Not dated, c.1910 judging by the art nouveau cover design, twenty-first thousand. Size 12mo, 7.25" tall, 142 pages plus 12 page publisher's catalogue for children's titles. Green cloth decorated in black and yellow with an art nouveau flower pattern and yellow titles in frame on the front cover, yellow titles and same flowers to the spine, with the dust jacket. Book condition good plus, corners and spine ends rubbed and slightly bumped, Sunday school prize label partially removed from the front end-paper, spotting to page edges and end-papers, pages are clean. Dust jacket condition good, heavily spotted and toned, corners and spine ends chipped, price has been clipped. With sepia toned frontispiece on glossy paper and 13 full page black and white illustrations, also nice head pieces and decorative initial capitals at the start of each chapter.
