Number 62 in this Limited Edition of only 125. SIGNED and INSCRIBED to Juan and Carmen Orrego-Salas as a gift to them on the occasion of the author's 85th birthday, October 13, 1991. Orrego-Salas was a fellow Professor of Music at Indiana University as well as a noted Chilean composer and winner of the National Arts Award in Chile. The inscription reads, " Juan sir, your new music is my absolute favorite new music. I still grieve that I was never able to study with you, but my admiration for you both is a very steady thing- always on the rise ! Van Carl Van Buskirk Oct. 13, 1991 ". PRESENTATION and ASSOCIATION copy as such. As expected, this treasure is FINE. Looks and feels untouched. Also laid in is the invitatation card to attend Buskirk's 85th birthday party.
