Moisture damage (staining & mottling) to front edge of 80 first pages, fading and disappearing by page 80. The book is 512pp. It was in bad shape, but well worth saving. At least now it is perfectly readable.; 6x9 1/2" .

Small, private bookplate on front free-endpaper. 9.75" x 6.75" This second printing, preceded by an edition of 500. was limited to 1,000 copies, On the limitation page is a six-line inscription, signed by the author at Cincinnati, March 16th, 1932. Felix Moses of Kentucky served in the Confederate States Army during the Civil War.
