Some of the illustrations (ruins of Athens etc) are re-drawn from photographs. Maps include two fold-out, one of Ancient Athens and one of Greece. Condition notes: Leather somewhat rubbed along edges and joints but overall sound, and a firm, clean, attractive copy.
