London: Macmillan (1982), 1982. First edition. Hardcover. Very near Fine/very near Fine. Slim 8vo. Unpaginated. Maroon cloth with gold lettering on the spine. Price of $3.95 net on the front flap of the dust jacket. Originally published by Doubleday, this is the first U.K. edition. Illustrated by Sylvain Mangeot, the son of Andre Mangeot, a musician for whom Isherwood worked. Interspersed are several color drawings of the creatures discussed in Isherwood's poems. A very near Fine book with a tiny tear to the bottom edge of one of the leaves in a very near Fine dust jacket.
