United Kingdom: Adam and Charles Black. Fair. 1899. First Edition (?). Hardcover. SOLD AS A READING/BINDER'S COPY - An 1899 presumed 1st edition hardcover without dustwrapper, in aged/soiled cloth-covered boards with zebra pattern and dulled gilt lettering. The backstrip is missing, and a crack at the front endpaper has been historically mended with adhesive tape. Internally the text block is in very good condition without writing or stamps, pages occasionally very slightly foxed and lightly tanned to the edges. A tight, useful copy of a scarce original title. Carefully packaged and despatched within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland. .
