Large fold-out map in excellent condition, some off-setting onto title page. Two small tears in substance of paper on front free endpaper. Evidence of prior removal of bookplate from front pastedown. Paper stained at binding junction of map page and title page, possibly due to glue used to tip-in the map. Errata slip is present. Text is exceptionally clean. 16-page advertisement for other military publications at end. This is the first bound edition of the review of the campaign, having earlier been published as a magazine article. 96pp with 16-page catalogue of books at conclusion.(See Broadfoot 236).. First Edition. Red Cloth. General Moderate Wear/No Jacket. Thin Octavo.
