First edition. Beautifully illustrated with B/w frontispiece and illustrations by Hugh Thomson. Publishers original red cloth with lovely bright gilt decoration. All edges bright gilt. Black endpapers. Binding tight. Spine faded with ink mark and small 1 cm split in cloth to spine edge, ends rubbed with a couple of small nicks. Corners rubbed. Content clean and bright with no markings and no foxing. Not ex-library. No labels, names, notes or inscriptions. 298 pp. All books are individually described. All overseas orders are sent airmail by Royal Mail International Tracked.
