Scribners. Collectible - Very Good. SIGNED! New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, copyright 1946. Early printing with Scribner printing code G-6.65 (AJ) which states a publication year of 1965. 8vo library binding with pictorial boards. Unpaginated. Color illustrations. Signed by Politi on front endpage with an inscription that appears to say "To Glad" or "Be Glad" and is dated to the original publication year, 1946. There are also watercolor illustrations of 2 stars and a bell on the front endpapers. Near Fine in a Very Good dust jacket in mylar cover. Jacket is unclipped and has minor edgewear. There is a "Scribner Library Binding" sticker on the lower left corner of the front panel which wraps over the spine to the rear panel. "Song of the Swallows Caldecott Medal Winner 1950" mentioned on rear panel. (Christmas Stories, Posadas, Mexican Americans) Inquire if you need further information.
