Arctic bib 777.Translation of Astrup's journey to Greenland with Peary in 1891-92. Eivind Astrup served aboard the SS Kite, which set out from New York to determine if Greenland was an island. Peary was accompanied by his wife, Josephine Diebitsch Peary, the first female to travel on an expedition to the Arctic. 1898
