Hardcover has blue cloth-covered boards with black spine and cover lettering and a round paper paste-on color portrait on the front cover. Black and white frontispiece. 274 pages. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rounded. Covers have light surface and edge wear; spine lightly sunned. Pages tanned but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. Page edges lightly soiled. One page is dog-eared. Front free endpaper has four glue spots where a book plate was removed at some point. No dust jacket. Patty series Number 3. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
