Boston: D.C. Heath and Company, 1937 Part VI of Our Animal Books, a Series in Humane Education, edited by Frances E. Clarke. Illustrated. Former school book with reinforced binding, pictorial cover, and pictorial endpapers. Cover extremities heavily worn, and 1/2" horizontal tear halfway down spine/gutter; tiny chip out of cloth at front fore edge. Few moderate stains to cover cloth. Interior clean and tight except for small school inkstamp on blank front endpaper.
