About This Item
Chicago: The Reilly & Britton Co, 1913. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. John R. Neill. First edition, second state, with the "C" on p. 35 not overlapping with "to," and 5 pages of publisher's ads at the back and the announcement on p. [343]. Green cloth with illustrated front boards and spine, and lettering in green and red. A couple of light bumps to the board edges, the spine a little rubbed at the tips and very lightly worn at the ends, publisher's lettering at the spine foot rubbed and the boards with very faint spotting noticeable at an angle, really unobtrusive and not noticeable. The endpapers clean and the book clean throughout, and the binding tight and square. Nice copy. Hinke, P. 25; Greene & Hanff, VII. pg. 53; Bienvenue, p. 52.
