About This Item
First edition. Off-white fabric covered boards with some pink staining due to exposure to a small amount of water (perhaps rain, this is Western Washington). Little other wear. The dust jacket also shows some of that water exposure as well as a collection of chips, tears and crimps. The pages seem to have escaped the water intrusion, other than at the top of the spine on the rear endpaper. The pages are clean, tight and unmarked. Accompanied with numerous photographs taken by the author's wife. This is the account of their half-million-mile journey taken between 1959 and 1963 across the width of Eurasia. A rare book.
