Gilt spine title shows shows: Hawthorne's Works/ American Note-Nooks/ 1, and the same with 2 on second volume. 450 pages total. Decorative end papers which match boards. Internally a nice copy with no foxing. These books measure about 4 3/4 inches by 7 inches.
