Yellow cloth, with green spine lettering, and silver decorations on spine (grape clusters) and front cover (Cupid crushing grapes]). Unstained top text block. 260 pages, with a Bibliography of Carl Van Vechten at end. Dust-jacket (with price clipped) is edge worn, with dulled spine and loss at bottom of spine, and scrapes on rear panel.
Described, on the copyright page, as "First and Second Printing Before Publication Published August, 1930".
