This undated printing, publisher's stock number 9808, was probably produced and bound in the mid-1920's. 272 pages, with [Preface] by Richard Sternfeld, and an engraving of the summer season's Auffuhrungen program of the Buhnenfestspielhaus Bayreuth "fur die Mitgleider des Patronat-Vereins". Boards are splittting at rear upper backstrip, otherwise sound; bookplate of prior owner on front pastedown; bookseller stamp (Franz Tafel), and purchase data in prior owner's hand (Karlsruhe 1926) on title page; text is strong, but browning to margins and lightly coloring throughout; text also carries penciled key and tempi notations on about 6 pages.

C F Peters, Frankfurt etc. Softcover. Good/No Jacket. 272 pages (complete). Personal copy of the international opera singer, Wendy Fine. A label, and signature on the front cover indicate this. An inscription on the front page marks her involvement in the legendary 1970 Bayreuth production under Boulez. Fine was a Blumenmadchen and she marked the score accordingly. The covers are scuffed, worn, marked from handling and storage. They are comfortable and secure. The contents have user wear about the edges and corners from use. Otherwise, the pages are clean, clear, bold, competent, very certain, confident.
