Near fine cloth copy in a good if somewhat edge-torn (with some minor loss) and dust-dulled dust-wrapper, now mylar-sleeved. Remains particularly well-preserved; tight, bright, clean and strong. Physical description: 160p., ill. ; 20cm. Subjects: Booksellers and bookselling ; Fiction.
Synopsis
Although my name appears on the title page, the real author of this book is Miss Helen McGill (now Mrs. Roger Mifflin), who told me the story with her own inimitable vivacity. And on her behalf I want to send to you these few words of acknowledgment.
