Includes ten portraits by photographer Josef Breitenbach who worked in both Paris and New York and served as an instructor at Black Mountain College, among other institutions. Photos of Max Ernst, Lyonel Feininger, James Joyce, and other famous artists and writers. Also includes fiction, an interview with John Ashbery, and more. Wear to cover extremities and head and tail of spine; slight creasing. Small dent on spine and some toning to wraps. Clean and unmarked pages. Very good.
