About This Item

Somerset, England: Richard Dennis, 1984. Hardcover. VG-/VG- (scuffs & smudges to cloth. spine ends crinkled & rubbed. corners rubbed. dustjacket scuffed, scratched & creased; edge-wear; upper front corner torn w/ transparent tape repair). coarse black boards w/ silver printing. 268 pp. 2 color, 914 bw plates. glossy black dustjacket w/ grey illustration. Textblock/pages opens flap, but spine is not necessarily split; glue and binding firm and intact; appears to be more of a substandard binding technique/procedure. The pictorial record is interspersed with essays on the important factories and related subjects. The majority of the figures and busts illustrated here were shown at the Parian Exhibition held in the Chelsea Town Hall, London, in December 1984. An excellent resource.
