London: G.G. Harrap & Co., 1911. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Will Pogany. At the rear is printed "The letterpress and line illustrations lithographed by Vincent Brooks, Day and Sons Ltd. London, the four-colour plates printed by Henry Stone and son Ltd. Banbury A.D. MCMXII". Soft limp brown leather binding, with a gilt and black emblem and title on the front and titles in gilt along the spine. The top board is detached. The spine strip is tattered at both ends, particularly at the top, and the flimsy leather edges are also worn. Internally the pages are remarkably well preserved. First few pages are attached but only just. Illustrated end papers though obviously split at the front where the front of the binding is detached. Stiff card pages, smooth and clean, illustrated and illuminated with several beautiful tipped in coloured plates. May incur additional postage charges overseas.
