A fine, tight, bright example, in the original plain paper dust wrapper. xii+ 341 pp. with index. Illustrations. Some pages unopened. Isaac Hull (1773-1843) was a Derby, Connecticut native who joined the United Sattes Navy i 1798. He served aboard the USS Constitution (of which he assumed command in 1810) and fought against the Barbary pirates in 1802 and against the British during the War of 1812.
