About This Item
Harper & Brothers, 1904. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition/printing (not stated). Book is in Very Good Minus condition. Inside front panel has PO inscription and a small stain mark at upper corner (see pic), the end papers are largely foxed, but this copy remains unshaken (with some binding separation starting internally) and relatively sturdy. A very uncommon book about a time and subject, early in the last century, that proved to be very formative for the ensuing decades and World Wars.
